Myself and some others were not able to access the site for a while yesterday, maybe you got caught in the twilight zone.

Magic bucket is empty :)

Did you check the other forums, like off topic, etc. etc.

yup - it's not there.

I hate it when I get caught in the twilight zone AND the magic bucket is empty - but that's just life.

Thanks for checking, Kyocera.

Teerex, if your thread was about the 9 cell battery, then I saw it... there was one response, and I was submitting my own comment, but after I hit submit, after several minutes of no activity, I got the "page not found" error message from IE...

Okay I have had some glitchy "twilight zone" occurrances with this site lately too.

Case in point: I received a PM notification email timestamped 4:01 am Sunday (the 16th). I tried to log into the site at ~8:30 am Sunday morning and everything was screwed up. I was able to get to my mailbox and see a new message had arrived from a user I had never previously spoken to. Unfortunately, the site wouldn't let me actually view the contents of the PM (just got server errors). When I came back to the site at 10:00 am Sunday, the message had disappeared from my PM box.

Any comments from Bill or the other admins? Any way to get the mystery PM back (I feel sorry for whoever sent it since they'll never know I wasn't able to read it)?

I'm missing some PMs as well. I received some data base error messages on Sunday, could not load the forum. Maybe an slightly older backup was recovered.
