Acer TravelMate 8000

Hi all,

Anybody come across the new TravelMate 8000 series yet? Similar specs to T series with DVI out, firewire and ATI Radeon 9700.

Can anyone comment on the build quality of the top of the line Acers.

I have had one, and sold it :D (Now buying a T41P)

I also had 2 TM-800's.

No, it’s a decent notebook this time. (I am form tweakers.net and I am the laptop guru there :P) Nice built quality, and pretty fast + nice tft screen. Its 200nith.

Silent fan operation also :)

But why buy Acer if you can have an IBM ? :P
