#1 Post by UberSteve » Wed Sep 13, 2006 8:43 pm

See http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... MIGR-63024
Summary of changes
Version 79ET67WW (1.11)
(Fix) Timeout may take more than 30 seconds if PXE (Preboot eXecution Environment) network boot does not succeed.
Doesn't look like much has changed, anyone tried it yet?

I tried. Nothing noticeable happened.
Why do they skip v1.09.001 and go for v1.11 directly?

Yeah... 1.09 to 1.11 is a huge number jump. :)

They prolly were doing a lot of internal testing.

I still don't have my T60 yet  ship date is supposed to be 9/22...
Quick question though while I'm waiting. Are Bios updates included in the thinkadvantage updates? Or is this something that has to be done more manually.

I personally am waiting for the Core2Duo bios update and was just curious about the process of bios updates.

Thinkvantage more or less automates it for you; updating the BIOS is very easy.
