Archer6 - Lenovo Boxes

#1 Post by MobileGuru » Fri Oct 06, 2006 5:56 pm

Sorry bud that debacle of a thread got closed, so I couldn't respond to your question about my Lenovo boxes. To tell you the truth I've been rather impressed with them on a cost versus quality ratio .. only the C100 was a bit of a downer as the technology level was N-2 with what we had out there at the time in ThinkPad form.

But, given concideration, the C100 was exactly what it was supposed to be; a 6 month life span cheap entry level disposable box. The C200 I just received is leaps and bounds above what the C100 was, and it's going to be a nice addition to the family.

If only we have a section here to talk about them -- I mean even those fugly Lenovo desktops get some sunshine in here.

Wowie....You mean there is a place for even the Lenovo laptops here? Who would have guessed it...

By the way, there doesn't seem to be *too* much activity in that forum. :|

You just never know what might show up around here from one day to the next!

No  though. How about a trail of breadcrumbs as a consolation prize?

What's wierd is on a daily basis I clear out all of the sections of new postings, just to be sure I don't miss anything new, and even THEN I never saw it.

I must be getting old.

Thanks for the feedback. I've been curious how the Lenovo laptops are doing. I have followed them on the web, etc. but not seen one in person or had a chance to try one.

After seeing your signature today I went to Lenovo.com The 3000 series are noticeably improved over the very first models. It will be interesting to see what develops as the brand matures.

I must admit that I'm very tempted to purchase the 12.1" widescreen. How do you like yours?
