my x61t screen problem?

#1 Post by gongo » Tue Jul 10, 2007 10:01 am

So I got my x61t about 3 weeks ago and am loving it. However, I've noticed what looks like "fingerprints" on the edges of the screen where it connects to the black frame. These are, in fact NOT actual fingerprints. It seems like maybe a problem with the screen like too much pressure was exerted when building the tablet. It's not noticable with the screen on, but when I turn it off I can clearly see the issues.

Is this something that I should talk to lenovo about?

If it concerns you, they go for it. However, you only have 30 days (4 weeks) I believe, to bring your concerns to Lenovo, free of charge.

Lenovo changed return policy and it's only 21 days now. Also there can be a 15% restocking fee for opened box product.

well it doesnt really bother me as I can only see it with the comp off. And I guess if the screen fails my warranty will cover it.
