I thought I had a problem too.. but I just let it go and it eventually finished. After that it didn't take as long.

Try leaving it for a while and see what it does.

I did this tonight also... took quite a while... longer than I expected. Got stuck on 75% for a while, I just left it and came back a bit later and it was ready to install, which also paused at 90% and took a while. Just give it time.

haha, actually, give it a LOT of time.. it took forever on my 2373KTU. so i went for a bath and back and it was done. but some updates refused to install, saying "contact IBM Help Center". what gives? and anyone knows how to delete the downloaded but unwanted installation files? thanks :D

of course, you can really do the same thing as update connector by going to IBM's website support and downloading straight from there. that's what i usually do nowadays.

Yeah, I also find update connector pretty useless for keeping things up-to-date. Also had to let it sit and run for awhile to finish. One install just wouldn't work at all and, on calling IBM, was told that they were aware that particular update didn't work through Update Connector (I think it was for the wireless driver). Perhaps the only thing it's useful for is to do an inventory of what needs to be updated. So far I've found little use for this or: Message Center or Access Connections. I used Rescue & Recovery to create a backup to USB hard drive; hopefully, if the day comes when I need, it it'll work.
