No Spell-Chekc? Say it ain't so!

I need a spell-checker! I can't survive without one and be taken seriously in the world of bits and bytes because I spell so badly! Is there no spell-check included with phpBB?!

There's no spell-check in the standard phpBB package. There may be a free mod available at one of the phpBB support sites.

But what's the problem? I can't see any spelling errors in your post above :)

As a suggestion:

Build your reply using a Word Processor program that has Spell Check, then cut and paste into the Reply window. Add emoticons to suit, and go.

I use Firefox. How does that help me?

P.S. there's nothing in Firefox Help about spell-checking. There is a separate spell-check plugin "hack" (I'm being charitable) described here http://www.4serendipity.com/journal/arc ... 00140.html but it's hardly an integral part of Firefox. Indeed, it seems to break with each new Firefox release.
