Does the X61T have a ThinkLight? I was looking at it yesterday and didn't notice the opening for the light .

As to why, the lid on the tablet is flat inside for use as a... tablet. There's no lip on the edge where the ThinkLight is located on other models.

Well, I miss it, too, but where do you suggest they put one? (And, no, I'm not a backlit keyboard fan.)

You can buy a very inexpensive USB powered light to clip on your screen when you need it. I have one, works fine, though I wish someone would make a "flood" version. It seems with all these small lights that they are very bright in one spot, and your eyes adjust to that spot, making the rest hard to see...

Why couldn't they have buried a light in the lid catch? That sticks out when the lid is open, perfect place for it. LEDs are tiny, one could be made to fit in there.
