Ahci with Intel Matrix on a N100-> No Ahci Option in Bios

#1 Post by charlestek » Sun Jun 08, 2008 4:05 pm

I've read a few articles on enabling ahci in Vista (running vista business 32 bit) using the intel matrix drivers:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/922976
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... MIGR-62909
http://www.neowin.net/forum/lofiversion ... 57699.html
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lenovo_3000_N

However, all the articles (including the wikipedia for the N100), tell you to enable ahci in the advanced or config in the bios. I have the latest bios installed 61ET37WW and there is no ahci option (nor has there been one in previous bioses) Am I missing something here??

Thanks,

Phil

Most of the Lenovo branded notebooks don't have the AHCI option. It's normal...
