Problem installing Veriface recognition software on 3000n100

hi can Lenovo Veriface recognition software be installed on lenovo 3000 n 100 laptop?
I have downloaded the software of Lenovo Y series from

but when i try to install it on my Lenovo 3000 n 100 (product no 76884Q with webcam core solo processor and 1 GB RAM) it gives me an error with msg ' Lenovo Veriface recognition software is specially made for Lenovo', i am installing it on lenovo only than why this error comes anybody can please help me out to solve the issue ,
i found on some forums that the same software is used on other brand PCs also then why it can not be used on lenovo near same config pc

This only works on Vista I think...Are you running XP?
