It would be most helpful to me, and likely many other users if there was a duplication of these links at the bottom of every page. I find that I click on "View active topics" often, then read a thread and find myself at the bottom of the page wanting to click the link again. But, I have to scroll back to the top of the page to find the link. Would be real handy to have a duplicate at the bottom along with the "Board Index" link that appears both at the top and the bottom of each page.

Is it just me, or would other users like this also?

I don't think it's likely that Bill would entertain a suggestion to make any design changes to the current phpBB. Use the 'page up' key on your keyboard. Hold it down to scroll up several pages at once.

Even easier would be to use the Home key and get to the top with a single push.

edit: Also, if you keep the "New Posts" page in its own browser tab by launching whatever thread you want to read into a separate tab, then when you're done, close the tab you're reading and scan the index for the next thread you want to read. You can periodically refresh the "New Posts" page for any new activity since it was last presented to you.
