Hack to have bluetooth support under Splashtop/Quick Start?

#1 Post by jamiphar » Thu Apr 30, 2009 1:29 am

I've been playing with the recently-installed Quick Start on my S10, and I've been thinking about a couple of things that would make it (even) better. One of the biggest things (to me) would be for it to have bluetooth support. I'd love to be able to dial-up and have internet access through my BlackBerry like I can in Windows.

I've read a few places about people hacking/unlocking Splashtop by using the downloadable source code, and I wonder if this can be used to give it bluetooth support. I wish I had the knowledge needed to figure this out for myself, but my Linux experience is fairly limited. Would one of you Linux experts possibly want to help me try to get this going? I'd be glad to use my S10 as the guinea pig for whatever ideas you have.
