Just installed xp sp3 and ie8 now I have a problem

#1 Post by wireman24 » Tue Jul 28, 2009 1:43 pm

I just installed windows xp sp3 as well as Internet explorer 8
Everything works fine except I have lost function of the access ibm button at the top of the keyboard. Also the the volume and mute buttons work but they no longer bring up the graphic on the screen showing the volume going up or down.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

You need newer version of .NET Framework, Hotkey utility, Power Manager and Access Connection.

That worked great all my functions are back.

One last question. After installing all this I have noticed that it takes longer for my network connections to show up down in the lower right hand corner of my screen by the clock. Is there any way to get them to show up quicker like before I upgraded all this software?

Thanks

Yes, uninstall Access Connections unless you actually use it.
