Norton Antivirus
Norton Antivirus
How do I find a Norton AntiVirus product key ? I'm trying to get rid of a virus. Norton AntiVirus is asking for a product key. I don't remember the email or password that I have with their account. I don't remember having account with them at all. How do I find the product key necessary for the AntiVirus activation ?

Re: Norton Antivirus
You probably only have the free trial version that Lenovo ships with most Thinkpads, and it has expired.
Get a different antivirus. Loads of free, better ones are out there.

Re: Norton Antivirus
I have used Kaspersky for years, and for years it has consistently received high ratings from reviewers. It is also included in those ZoneAlarm products which include AV.

Re: Norton Antivirus
You can either do one of these things...
1. Find an alternative Anit Virus such as AVG free 9.0
I would recommend you get AVG Free 9.0, it works really well I find.
Download it here http://free.avg.com/us-en/download?prd=afg

Re: Norton Antivirus
1) Norton Antivirus is junk. It consistently performs quite poorly.
2) Avast is less annoying, but it doesn't do that great on detection tests.
3) Avira consisntenly scores near the top of the list when it comes to detection rates.
4) Microsoft Security Essentials is a relative newcomer, but already has started scoring quite well on both detection rates and speed.
Personally, I'd recommend either #3 or #4.
