Get W500 NOW or wait for W510?

#1 Post by ARD » Fri Jan 01, 2010 8:11 pm

As the title says, get it now or wait?

Pros and cons that I see are W510 has i7 Calpella, not too sure about the nvidia FX880 though, but it has a freaking 16:9 screen.
The W500 has a 16:10 screen at least, but a Core 2 Duo.
For consolation, I should be able to get a 500 a lot cheaper once the 510 is out.
I'm still on the fence.
What do you all think?
This space for rent!
Send PM.

I would wait. It's only a matter of a few weeks and then you can do a reasonable price/feature comparison. In fact I'd wait until others buy the 510 to see if it has any bad habits ...
