W500 After W510

Does anyone know if the W500 will still be offered after the W510 is launched? I'd like to buy the former, and I read the W510 will be launched January 7th, two days away.

It depends on stock levels, but yes older models are generally offered after new model releases...for a time. Once the stock is gone, then the offers are pulled from the Lenovo website. Even after that point you may still find a particular model at the Lenovo outlet, either new or refurbished.

I talked with a sales rep two weeks ago who said that the W500 will be a available through June 2010.
