Disabling onboard ram / accessing true bios TP 600

#1 Post by 405style » Thu Feb 24, 2005 4:40 pm

i ve just installed 2 sticks of pc 100 ram , (128 mb per stick ) into my IBM tp600. One problem, the ram is out of sync with the onboard 32mb ( 66mhz), so i lose 32 mb off the memory installed, bringing me down to 224 mb. Anyone know of how to disable the onboard ram to prevent this problem???

My other question is, how do you bypass easy bios on the tp 600 and go into the actual bios of the machine, not the useless idiot set?

Thanks all,

Ks
