Are you getting a GPS fix with Gobi2000 card?

#1 Post by benjs » Sun Feb 28, 2010 4:23 pm

I was wondering if there are any diagnostics tools available... I don't seem to be able to get a GPS fix, even after waiting over an hour after activating the GPS with the Thinkvantage GPS v2.5 tool.
It's running in standalone mode though...

As my x100e (2876 27G and the service part list suggests the modem has part# 60Y3183) still has a locked 3G modem, so I'm not sure whether or not this is a related problem.

Any ideas how to find out whether or not my GPS is working?
E.g. telnet to the NMEA com5 and ask a few basic diagnostic things etc?

Thanks for any ideas!
