x64 versus x86 on the x100e

#1 Post by gregmcg » Wed Mar 03, 2010 7:39 pm

Just got mine today. I also order 4GB of memory and installed it before even turing it on. I'm wondering if anyone has done any benchmarks running the x100e on 32 bit Windows 7 versus 64bit Windows 7. I know I'd be able to use all the 4GB (just about) with x64 but how are the 64 bit drivers? Are they available and supported by Lenovo?

Pretty much all newer hardware is supported by Windows 7 right out of the box. The only driver problems people have (except for crappy drivers on occasion) is with old hardware.

That being said, Lenovo has posted drivers for both 32 and 64-bit systems.
