I do not back up that often. I have 4 backups listed - 3 named "scheduled" and one with the date and time.
If I try to delete a backup - the earliest scheduled - then I get a small hourglass dialog, CPU usage of 50% and so far it has taken 3 hours.
Is this normal?
rescue and recovery 4 - delete backup
Re: rescue and recovery 4 - delete backup
it really does take a long time - about 5 hours. But it does eventually finish.
Re: rescue and recovery 4 - delete backup
One of the reasons I abandoned R&R early was the fact that it is soooooo slowwwwwwwwwww!

5 hours to delete a backup
When I used to use R&R, deleting a backup was instant, unlike the backups themselves
As noted by Gomjabbar, R&R is just too slow to use as a backup tool.
