I was surprised to see two X100e's on display at the Manhattan Beach store this weekend. Unfortunately, they didn't look too good - relatively overpriced compared to the netbooks they were placed next to, and their trackpoints were vandalized / missing / destroyed / smashed.
But I did enjoy the chance to test the chiclet keyboard, at least for a moment. Frankly, I was not impressed - even the S10-3 keyboard felt better.
I'm not sure what Lenovo is thinking.
Lenovo needs to see how its units are portrayed in a retail setting.
In years past, only the clunker models (A22m, i1400, Z series) were found on retail display, and its no wonder they did not sell. It looks like today, the same practice continues with the SL series and I still can't find an S12 anywhere, and had to order one on faith. (So far, it has been well received.)

I also went to a Fry's and found a x100e that is in pristine condition and the keyboard is the best among the netbooks there.
