Re-celling X41T batteries
Do anyone here have advice on "re-celling" X41T batteries (preferably 8-cell, but 4-cell advice is good too! )
I have an 8-cell X41T battery that's got maybe 50 minutes of life on a full charge, so it's pretty much far and gone. I was very curious if it would be possible to "re-cell" it, as in buy the actual lithium cells and build the pack back up from scratch. I am reasonably competent around batteries and soldering, however I am very hesitant about cracking open the battery pack before I know what's in it!!
I figure if I can save myself the hassle of dealing with some Hong Kong battery outfit with no hope of reasonable returns, I'm all for it.
So, to those that do know - what kind of cells are in the X41T batteries? Who makes the Lithium cells and what are the size parameters? Any recommended sources for these particular cells or equivalents?

Running it through Google translator will give me some idea of what it is saying. However the photos mostly speak for themselves!

Re: Re-celling X41T batteries
Be sure to keep the electronics inside the battery powered when changing the cells.
I tried it with a T40 battery, but forgot to power the electronics while changing the cell, and the small moment (maybe 5 minutes) caused the electronics never to function again
The 18650 cell soldering went without a problem, but after soldering the cells and re-assembling the battery pack again, the battery indicator on my T40 was flashing orange quickly, and the IBM Battery MaxiMiser told me my battery was dead. Mission failed
However, i did it earlier on a no-name laptop, and that worked without a problem

I have done T30 and A31's. The A31 was a cake walk, the T30's not so much.
Purchased my cells from here.

Its a bunch of work, and using decent cells, you are not going to save anything once you factor in your time.
