I got the 2001fp about 2 months ago for $506 + tax and cal environmental fee (free shipping!). The thing is awsome, I mean I'm really satisfied, almost even makes me like Dell. Anyhow, I have heard of some probs with the widescreen model reguarding backlight bleedthrough and such. The native res on my panel is 1600x1200 and nary a dead pixel I have found. Get the 2001fp if you see it ~500 its well worth it, unless you really desire the widescreen.

P.S. I'm getting a t42 with the radeon 9600, will the analog out or svideo drive this panel? (1600x1200 native)
