Which temperature monitor to use on the X100e L335?

#1 Post by danieldavid » Wed Feb 02, 2011 3:24 am

My X100e is not especially effected by overheating. However, after reading the different posts I became curious. Using the Thinkavantage hardware check the temps for the two processor cores are typically in the mid 50's Centigrade when running mild surfing or office applications. Using CPUID's HWMonitor they are in the mid 70's. All measurements were made at the same time.

Are there monitor programs that are known to support the L335 dual core?

Speedfan or coretemp are both working.

Thanks for your advice. I installed Core Temp. Seems to identify the Neo X2 L335 correctly.

So far temps are in the 50's C while surfing, around 40 idling.

CoreTemp doesn't work for me. It's about 30 deg off! I use HWmonitor. Works everytime...
