Anyone Using a Cooling Pad on the X100e?

#1 Post by danieldavid » Wed Jul 13, 2011 3:39 pm

Now that it's summertime and I'm not always in a well air-conditioned space, I decided to try the Coolermaster Notepal U1 cooling pad - the simpler variant - just a sloped, perforated, black-anodized aluminum plate with rubber feet.

Anyhow, it seems to prevent heat buildup under the X100e, and not having any fans keeps the noise level and power consumption down. If I have time - I'll try to take some temperature measurements.

Anyone else using a cooling pad on the X100e?

Not on the x100e, but on my Dell Vostro 1500.
I have a different one bought only for the purpose to lift the notebook.
The vent was not important, but keeps it cool.
