i7 x220 mSATA compatibility problem.

Hi all, I was interested in purchasing a mSATA SSD for my i7 X220, however, there are a couple posts on the lenovo forum indicating that the i7 with USB 3.0 configuration of the X220 is not compatible and will not recognize the drive. There are several reports of other owners agreeing with this statement. Does anyone have this setup with an mSATA that IS working properly?

Fixed as of July BIOS 1.18, tested by Lenovo community members :):
