I installed windows XP Prof. on my X31. And in the process lost some cute things that were on my X31. One of them is the Sound Icon that shows your battery power. How can I reinstall this
I'm not sure what that is: the sound icon that shows battery power.
But, there is the volume icon: Control Panel > Sounds & Audio > Show volume icon
The windows power/battery icon: Control Panel > Power Options > Advanced > Show icon
Or, the IBM power/battery icon: Thinkpad Configuration > click on Battery MaxiMizer Wizard icon and follow along
