hi - am a thinkpad owner with 3 years experience of using my T40P. My girlfriend recently bought a Lenovo 3000 N100 laptop. It did not want to connect to the network of her parents, an ad-hoc network with static IP's (no DHCP). after some messing around by her dad, the problem was still not solved, so I uninstalled access, as well as the wireless drivers, and installed new drivers and the newest access (4.21 i believe).
unfortunately, access has become completely unresponsive - i tried removing access and the wireless drivers, and installing them again, but this did not help. the programme launches correctly in the system tray, but whenever i double click on it, or click on things in it (eg managing profiles), it takes AGES before anything happens.
what could be at fault?

RE:access
Check your firewall, this is quite often a cause of slow programs. If you disable windows firewall and any firewalls/spyware blockers does it still run slow?
