T41p LCD change

Hi!
I have few white spots in my T41p screen and i want to change it. I also have a spare SXGA+ LCD panel from Dell laptop (Quanta
QD141F1LH01 (LK01)). Will the screen from Dell work with my IBM?

Will not work wil kill the lcd controller chip on the ibm
