question i ask is that the power meter and onscreen hotkey things don't seem to work

i have a 3000 n200

i'm pretty sure presentation manager doesn't work either

did they disable these on purpose given they aren't 'real' thinkpads?

Hotkey and Presentation director works on lenovo 3000 series.

However, lenovo hasn't made ThinkVantage Power Manager compatible for 3000 machines.

For Fn combinations to work under Windows XP (I assume since you haven't mentioned your OS), download the following drivers:

-Hotkey drivers.
-ACPI Power Management drivers.
-Display drivers from lenovo.

Downloads and drivers - Lenovo N200.
