Actually JD, you don't usually see a location as most of the forum members haven't updated their profiles with this info.

Apparently my pleas to include this info as a matter of course in profiles have fallen on (mainly) deaf ears.

Exactly. I've attempted to make the point several times that my request isn't driven by simple curiosity, but by the fact that the best response to a request for assistance in the Forums often necessitates knowing the poster's geographic location.

An answer for someone in the US can be greatly different than an answer for someone posting from EU, OZ, NZ, etc., etc.

Sigh indeed.

To be honest I haven't the faintest idea - but the "i before e" thing seemed appropriate...when in doubt I usually spell it "s t r a n g e" - solves the problem...

there are many many exceptions to the i before e rule.
