System clock should be based upon your time zone setting in your profile.

Could this be because of DST? According to this time and date page, GMT/UTC does not observe DST (although the UK does, calling it British summer time or BST), so in the summer, London time is GMT+1. Thus, here in the eastern zone our offset in summer should be GMT-4, not -5 as it says in my profile (as referred to by Ray). Alternatively, it is London time-5 year round. Confused yet? Class dismissed.
Brian
edit: I just changed the time zone in my profile to GMT-4 after posting and now all the times in everyone's posts seem correct. It's one more "clock" I'll have to remember to change when DST ends.

I have been noticing random problems all week this week, too, and was going to post something about it when I saw this thread.
Today has been particularly bad. It almost seems like it is going down on the half-hour mark for about 10 minutes at a time. At least that was what I thought until it came back for 2 minutes at around 10:40 and then promptly went back down for me again. But the general pattern for me today has been down for 10, up for about 20, dying at 8:30, 9:00, 9:30, 10:00, 10:30, 11:00, etc.
Hope you guys can get it figured out soon!

EDIT -- I should note I'm in PDT

The number of times that I'm not able to get on TPF seems to be on the increase!
Note: Whenever I can't get on TPF due to server-problems, I will have to log in with my username and password, because the cookie from before is no longer valid.
This is most irritating!
Note2: While trying to submit this post, the server went out again!

What a CRAP server company! (sorry, Bill).

A whole day
I wasn't able to access the site for theENTIRE day that the x200t was being peacocked around.
I got this in response to trying to view several threads a little while ago:

The debug errors are almost constant for me. Is there an issue with the hosting company?
