Best LCD monitor.... Well if youcan afford it

I came across this monitor while browsing.
I must say it is the most impressive LCD monitor that I have encountered. I would love to see it in person, actually I would like to own one if I can afford it..

Anyways check it out IBM T221 LCD monitor.

that one is a special order, last time i asked..
and EXPENSIVE..!!
it was around $7500 at the time..

made for medical imaging..

And for that kind of money the specs are not that impressive
Brightness is only 235 and contrast 400.
My 2 year old mitsubishi has better specs. However it is only 15 inch.

Not really for the same market but i really like this new Sony coming out.

The Sony MFM-HT75W looks pretty cool and has xBrite

Too bad the resolution is only at 1280x768. For daily T4x SXGA+ users it's not really enough.

Well actually it is not the size that I was impressed with. Look at the resolution of the IBM and Viewsonic monitors. 3840 x 2400. You would probably need heck of a video card to use that monitor smoothly at those resolutions. That is like having 4 1920 x 1200 resolution monitors.
