Netstumbler and Intel 2200 B/G card...

Im not sure if anyone here is interested in this or not, but the Intel 2200 B/G card does work with Netstumbler right out of the box. Does anyone have info on the IBM A/B/G card?

NetStumbler doesn't work with my Linksys, nor your Intel 2200 B/G card and from what I read, it works with few cards.

whoops! it does work with your Intel 2200 B/G card right out of the box.

Yeah i installed the new 0.4 version in my T42 with the Intel 2200 B/G and it worked great. Though I think a few people reported that the Noise readings did not work.

While we're on the subject of the 2200BG, has anyone gotten the 2200BG to use the extended channels (12-14)? I mean, hypothetically, I know a friend of a friend of a friend who enabled extended channel mode (control panel->system->hardware->device manager->Intel 2200BG->properties->advanced->extended channel mode->enable) and it won't connect to channel 14. The IBM 11abg card connects fine on channel 14.

csv96...why would you need to connect on channel 14?

It (Ver. 0.4.0 build 554) works great with the a/b/g card.

In my neighborhood...err...I mean my friend's neighborhood...there are a lot of WiFi networks crowding channels 1-11. Channel 14 is crystal clear with measurable 15-20% better reception.

which routers offer the extended channels. My DLink doesn't offer it.

I think the linksys wrt54g can be hacked to get access to the extended channels.
