What should the default monitor profile be under the display (ATI Mobility Radeon Properties) tab for X31? I don't seem to have any color profiles.

I have a T40, and have no color profile either. So I think that's the default.

When you click on ADD it lists them there and you can select the one you want from there.

I finally found some info on this off the IBM site - it's not easy to find.

the default ibm icc color profile weighs too much on blue gamma. if you're looking for color accuracy then you need multi-channel gamma-correction software. otherwise, your default profile (no profile) looks the same as ibm's.

the ATI FireGL driver on my R50p offers gamma correction within the advanced section of the display control panel. your ATI driver should allow the same. otherwise, photoshop installs a gamma control panel that works fairly well.
