Re: Skype crashes on x120e
No suggestions, as I just installed got everything "the way I like it" on my x120e. I installed skype, but I haven't tried actually using it to talk with anyone yet, let alone use it for a video conference. I will soon, tho', and report back then.

Re: Skype crashes on x120e
Thanks Tim
Problem is that with video , it starts up ok but crashes a few seconds after , maybe 30-60
Not sure if a webcam issue or a graphics chip one
Type of error may indicate a memory leak?
Have contacted skype support and sent the debug logs
They say it needs a skype software fix ... Great
Anyway let me know what u find
Thx

Re: Skype crashes on x120e
Skype is really strange as a piece of software. Proprietary protocol, and not in a good way.
Try updating the Conexant audio driver; there were a few issues with the older versions and Skype.

Re: Skype crashes on x120e
I used skype for a video call for a good 15 min or so, no issues. I haven't tried it with my own Win7 reinstall, just fresh out of the box (with some stuff uninstalled).
