Hi all...
It's not terrible, but the uparrow key on my x120e is under-sensitive - that is, you have to make sure to push it down ALL the way (instead of just tap it) for it to register. I tested it in comparison with the other arrow keys, and see that the x120e keyboard *does* require more travel for these keys in general than other Thinkpad keyboards I've used, but this key requires just that much more push to register.
Anyone else have this problem? Should I ask Lenovo to send me a replacement keyboard, do you think, or are they all a little sketchy like that?

x120e: Anyone else have undersensitive up-arrow key?
Re: x120e: Anyone else have undersensitive up-arrow key?
I just got my x120e, typing on it right now, and I don't have this issue. All the arrow keys require about the same amount of travel to register. I'd say if it bothers you enough, like if you repeatedly have to hit it twice to register, inquire about a replacement.

I did a Google search, and found quite a few people having similar trouble with various keys, but mostly the arrow keys. Some got replacement keyboards.bealdrid wrote:I just got my x120e, typing on it right now, and I don't have this issue. All the arrow keys require about the same amount of travel to register. I wonder if Lenovo would let me replace the keyboard myself (but send me a free replacement keyboard), or if that would void the warranty. I'll check it out with them next week. It *does* bother me because, as you say, I'm happily typing away, hit the uparrow key when navigating/editing something, and it doesn't work, so I have to treat that one key differently than every other key. I can work around it, but it's annoying.

Ok, I called Lenovo suppot, and answered a few questioned, and they've sent me a new keyboard overnight. Pretty good service - I'm surprised.
