Might be upgrading in the near future and looking to offset the cost, however I have no idea on a fair price. System is in great condition, looks new besides slightly worn corners from sleeve. I tried looking through the marketplace to no avail, there aren't any recent T400's with these specs.
T400: 2767-WQP
T9400(2.53GHz),
4GB RAM, --> Now 8GB
160GB 7200rpm HD, --> Now 64GB Crucial M4 SSD + 500GB WD Scorpio Black w/ Ultrabay Adapter
LG WXGA+ 1440x900
256MB ATI Radeon HD3470/Intel Switchable
CDRW/DVDRW,
Intel 5300 802.11agn
Verizon/Telus WWAN,
Bluetooth, Fingerprint Rdr, 9-cell battery, Webcam, Vista COA --> Now 6-cell, "Green" condition
New keyboard and palmrest

Re: Fair Selling Price: T400
Is there any warranty remaining on the unit? That would be my first question.
Secondly, you might be better off removing the SSD and selling it separately.
LED or CCFL?
Presuming a LED-lit screen, all in all, if you find the right buyer, you can walk away with $450, maybe even $500 for the lot.

Re: Fair Selling Price: T400
No warranty, it was built 01/10 and had a one-year warranty.
It's LED backlit, and it's the good LG-Philips panel.
The SSD can be had for $76.99 brand new on newegg with the way prices have been dropping. I could probably ask a separate price without it and sell it separately if the buyer didn't want it.
Thanks for your help.

Re: Fair Selling Price: T400
If it were my machine, I'd be looking for at least $425, with no SSD, which should being $50 or thereabouts..
LED-lit LCD is a big selling point for many people. As are switchable graphics.
Honestly, your machine is pretty well-spec'd within the T400 range limits. Folks on feebay won't care. The crowd around here probably will.
Good luck.
