Bluetooth Headset

#1 Post by floppydisk » Fri Sep 02, 2011 7:52 am

Hi all,

I purchased the x120e (with bluetooth) due to its size and weight, I'm a tech. which needs to travel around so I made the choice over using my existing netbook on customer's site. Can any proud owner of the x100e or x120e recommend a bluetooth headset which surely can pair up and works? I need to be on an IP softphone constantly and be able to run between servers and the thinkpad.

Thank you in advance.!

Cheers.

I've had good luck with every Plantronics model I've tried. The 590 and the 903+ are what I currently use.

@awolfe63

I have a Plantronics BackBeat 903+ headset as well. It sounds excellent with my Nokia Lumia 800 smartphone, with clear sound and surprisingly good bass, but it sounds pretty awful with my ThinkPad X220.

Do you have have any idea why? Does it sound okay for you?

Mono BT headsets are fairly standard stuffs these days, it seems unnecessary to me to look for one that "fits your model", my recommendation is to look for those with good noise cancelling functionality.

Cheers.
