anyone have a good Wacom driver for X41T with win7?
I have 2 X41T that I have been trying to get working. I have not been able to get the pen working on either machine. Everything appears to be plugged in but still no life from the digitizer pen. I have Win7 on the drive currently. Do the lcd digitizers fail after some time?

Re: anyone have a good Wacom driver for X41T with win7?
My X41T pen works out of the box in win7. If I recall correctly, wacom drivers got updated with the first windows updates.
Many ways to troubleshoot, since you've got two machines:
1. Are these known good working machines prior to win7 or is it the first OS you get to test them with?
2. Is it a previously tested pen in good working order?
You can try loading an ubuntu live usb, the pen should work out of the box there as well. Double check by running in a terminal. If the wacom digitizer is working you should get
Regarding your last question, the answer is yes. I got my X41T off ebay as a spares/repairs unit and turned out to have a faulty digitizer. I patiently waited for a smashed screen to appear, bought it for peanuts and swapped digitizers and I am a happy camper ever since. I do not know the history of the unit, but I assume someone abused it in the past or it simply just broke somehow.
