X1 (2011, 1291) alternative LCD display?

So I see that the X1 non carbon has a 40 pins LVDS connection, any way to get at least a 1600x900 display? The 1366x768 resolution really bothers me, and I can't find much about that specific model online. Thanks!

The X1 uses the LP133WH2-TLM5

I don't know about all LVDS cables being the same or not, they probably are.
But you must check first if the pinouts are the same!
