Monitor ID software... Just found an application

I am not sure if this has ever been mentioned before, but I have finally, after some hours searching, found a piece of software that identifies the monitor/screen you have on your laptop without the need to remove it. (Massive time saver right there!)

I have run it on my T420 and found I have the LG LP140WH2-TLM2 screen (Bonus, since from all that I have read, the Samsung is bad and the AUO is worse than that. Aparently?)

A free download and free software. A great tool to have in your arsenal if you want to know, are just curious about it or want to check before replacing or upgrading your screen.

IF this is in the wrong area, the MODS may freely move it to where they believe it best fits.

Works good. My T520 is a Samsung. LTN156KT02401.

What took me so long?

The fact that I have neither needed, nor desired to know the type of screen I have on a laptop until recently.

It is only in the last two to three years I have become acquainted with Thinkpad Laptops. I know one ting, I will never look to another laptop brand again as they have proven more than capable of withstanding the use and handling I put them through. Very rugged in comparison to my previous laptops, which I can only refer to as "being made of glass" in comparison.

It recognizes my T430 modded with FHD IPS LCD as B140HAN01.3. Funny since when I installed the LCD the sticker on the back IDed it as B140HAN01.1. Either's fine.
