Type of cells in X41t 19Ah battery
What is the type of cell that used in 19Ah X41t battery? Did somebody tried to replace them?
I found only Li-pol 2000 mAh, that fit the size. So, is there any issues with replacing original Li-ion with the Li-pol elements?
Also, what if I replace those cells with the bigger capacity, e.g. 4000 mAh?
Here are the images of the opened battery with the original cells:

Wouldn't recommend putting in standard LiPo pouch cells. Find the correct Li-ion Prismatic cells.

It looks like the same cells in X61T batteries.

Same as all the slimline batteries TPs have had since the 570 & 240 machines. I believe even the X240+ batteries use the same ones.
Also on that note with 4000mah instead of 2000, well the best you will do is ~3000....LiIon tech has not come that far in the last 10-15 years.

Yeah, I know this, but the only option at the local stores that fits the battery case size are these "li-pol-ion" cells with prismatic shape.RealBlackStuff wrote: ↑Mon Jan 28, 2019 12:42 pmSee also this: https://scottiestech.info/2015/06/21/li ... -the-deal/
About 4000 mAh: I thought to make two 4-cell circuits with 2000 or 2200mAh each in parallel. Did anybody tried this, or it's don't worth time/money investment?
I like the idea about small portable battery (in comparation with FRU 92P1085).

That's a surefire way to blow up something. Don't do that. You might be able to use the LiPo packs if absolute need be but take care because they don't like to be poked unlike Li-ion which can be abused.

Thanks for warning! I will not do this.Thinkpad4by3 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 29, 2019 7:02 amThat's a surefire way to blow up something. Don't do that. You might be able to use the LiPo packs if absolute need be but take care because they don't like to be poked unlike Li-ion which can be abused.
I found type of cells, and it seems correct. Panasonic 103450 batteries sells at aliexpress. Correct me if it's not, please.

Youre on the right track. They could be it...maybe not. Look up all the model numbers on the battery cells you have and see what matches. They look to be right. Also buy from a reputable seller...AliExpress is a surefire way to get "UltraFire"....and they are horrible batteries especially if you care about decent battery life. They are the king of what's written on packaging is almost guaranteed to be wrong.maxcreations wrote: ↑Tue Jan 29, 2019 7:35 amThanks for warning!
