Sorry, no commercial sellers allowed here without asking Bill
Update morning 6 April: Still available (and note I am not in any particular hurry to sell, so shoot me a message, and we'll see what can be worked out).
Update afternoon 13 April: Likely unavailable, deal pending.
Update evening 14 April: Closed the sale. Thanks!
So after a couple of years with a lot of my old Thinkpads, I need to downsize my collection in preparation for a likely move sooner or later.
As I still have the original box, I will pack it within this box (National Post of Japan charges by weight, not volume -- anyway).
I will ask 360usd for this laptop and expect 60ish USD for EMS shipping to most locations in the world. Add 5% if not using 'to family and friends' option in PayPal.
Please expect to pay more for (maybe) Australia/New Zealand, (and with certainty) South America, Africa, or the Antarctic. Let's make it 33000 JPY for an in-person trade in Tokyo.
As one of the photos in the imgur album show, I put a few accessories with the computer. As stated verbatim in this forum, the machine is highly collectible due to its advancing age and its local Asia-only availability at the time of production (and its lack of leaving Asia since then, in general).
As one person has asked, the exterior and interior are from what I can see free of scratches and highly reflective -- a great condition considering its age.
If you indicate interest in the laptop, please do not ask me to make a new account/method of transferring money without following through on the transaction. I will report any infractions that go one week without any word or apology to the bad trades section of the marketplace. (Future interested parties warned.)
While I put in a lot of work into this laptop, if you still wish for a lower price -- please contact me in the private messaging function, and I will consider the offers.
In general, please comment questions about the computer in the 'post reply' are below.
