Guys,
I'm so glad i found Thinkpad forum. Thanks Bill!!!
Okay, so i bought a 1GB SoDIMM PC2100, 266Mt/s, 200 pin from ebay made by Micron BUT it just doesn't work. I tried taking out both my 256mb RAMs and putting it alone and still it just beeps and doesn't boot.
Comparing the specifications i find that my new one is ECC and NOT NON-ECC which crucial.com says while scanning my system.
Is this ECC thing messing everything up???
Can please someone help me? i'm no good at h/w stuff.

you got it..ECC is not going to work on Thinkpad You need non-ECC RAM.
