T420 keyboard problem.

Hi Everybody
My wife came at home with a used Thinkpad T420 from the office because it was written off the list.
The T420 was without a charger/adaptor it was working well for 10 minutes until the battery was drained .
It has issues with the backup battery(0190) for the bios and the replacement is
currently on the way and also I have to order a adaptor.

The problem at this moment is the keyboard some buttons in a row doesnt work.. its the buttons asdfg.
I want ask any suggestion where to look at before replacing or fixing it somehow...
I did already watching some youtube channels about disassemble the T420 but still I need suggestion where to
look at it.. I think the thinkpad is much more complicated then the other laptops that I use at home..

Get the T420 manual from the HMM link above.
Remove/reseat the keyboard cable, it might just be dust or dirt.

Thank you, the HMM that I downloaded comes very handy for me...
