Programing the "ThinkVantage" button

#1 Post by UnknownFallout » Tue May 12, 2026 10:26 am

Been looking at this unused key for a while now thinking of how to reprogram it. If anybody uses this key for anything I would love to hear about it!

Actually, the Thinkvantage key isn't macro-based. You can select the application that starts when you press the key in the settings of Xfce and Plasma. As for Windows, I think you can search for software like keyboard remapping.
Using T460 T400 and A31.
T460:i7-6500U,16+512,Arch
T400:2765-65C with 1440*900 resolution screen and PCMCIA&Express Card Slot,T9600 CPU,6G RAM,Artix and Windows 7.
A31:fixing,P4 2Ghz,256M RAM,Windows 98 and OS/2

Sorry for translation software,my English is awful.
